What's New at EDGE?
Our Edge Academy program is
growing strong! We are excited to see many new
faces in the gym. In an effort to keep the
program fresh and keep our students challenged
we have done an overhaul of the Academy
curriculum. There are many new skills
added to the various levels and changes were
made to Move-Up Skill requirements. We
hope that your gymnasts will be excited by the
new skills and challanges!

12, 2010 will be our first annual Edge
Gymnastics Spring Show! This years
theme, "So You Think You Can Flip" is sure to be
a hit. The show is open to ALL
Edge students! Students must be
enrolled in the Late Spring session in order to
participate. Registration runs from April 12th
through May 8th. Sign up early

St. Patrick's Day
Celebration!
Edge will be hosting a booth at
the event. Make sure to bring your family
and friends and stop by our booth to say hello!

What: A
celebration full of excitement with
three stages of entertainment, children's
carnival rides, arts & crafts booths, as
well as the parade, pancake breakfast and the
the Shamrock 5K Fun Run & Walk. Many

event including EDGE!

parade. The Edge Team and Devo girls will
be participating in the parade representing

Bonnie
Bonnie Schreiner
coaches our Devo 3 and Level 7 team,
and in our recreational program she teaches
Girls Intermediate. Bonnie lives
in Pittsburg with her husband Doug and their two
children Parker and Peyton.
Did you do
gymnastics as a kid?
Yes, for 12
years.
What is a
favorite gymnastics memory?
When I
was 7 months pregnant with Peyton, my second
child, I did a double full!
What is
your favorite food?
Pasta,
quesadillas, and ice cream.
What do you
like to do for fun?
Anything in the
water or sun, Wake boarding
What made
you decide to be a gymnastics
coach?
I loved gymnastics so much
that I know I would miss it if I didn't
coach.

Olympics - A Huge Success!!
On
February 6th, Edge hosted our first annual Edge
Olympics. A great time was had by all! Thank you
to all gymnasts that participated. You all
did an amazing
job!

Preschool Program
News
Well it's the start of the Early Spring
session, and I for one am looking forward to
warmer weather! As spring is a time for
new growth, we will be updating our
program. Look for new equipment and new set
ups with new ways to have fun in the
gym.
Our preschool gymnastics classes are
filling up fast, so we are opening new classes
to accomodate new students. Please take
full advantage of our make-ups when you miss a
class. That way you will be getting the full
value from our program.
Open Gym for five and under is on
Friday at noon. If we can get enough interest we
will expand the hours of the open gym. Our open
gym is open to non-members as well. What a great
way to spend time with a play group, indoors and
out loud. So come join us and bring a friend. If
your friend signs up for class you will receive
a credit for our pro-shop.
